ABSTRACT
The increasing importance of location-based services and the widespread availability of GPS data have led to significant attention being paid to GPS trajectory management and learning in recent years. Trajectory management involves the efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of GPS trajectories, while trajectory learning aims to extract valuable insights and knowledge from these trajectories. In this research talk, we will present our work on GPS trajectory management and learning. Specifically, we propose a comprehensive framework for compressing GPS trajectories. Given that GPS trajectories can be vast in size and may contain redundant information, our framework addresses these issues by reducing the storage and retrieval costs associated with processing large amounts of trajectory data.
